Taylor Moore is the 25-year-old Caribbean journalist turned full-time guitar slinger, bandleader and songwriter stirring up a savage frenzy across the Southeast. After fleeing the island of St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands in April of 2009 for his music career, Moore blitzed countless festival, opening and headlining slots throughout the Southeast – garnering a loyal following and dazzling sold-out crowds with his guitar pyrotechnics, original songwriting and his Ray LaMontagne-meets-Rod Stewart vocal stylings. With his full-on electric band, Moore has opened concerts for heavy-hitters like Corey Smith at Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium in Spartanburg, SC and at Littlejohn Coliseum in Clemson, SC, as well as Grace Potter and the Nocturnals at the Handlebar in Greenville, SC. In his stripped-down acoustic capacity, he has opened for platinum-selling singer-songwriter Edwin McCain at the award-winning Orange Peel in Asheville, NC, the Newberry Opera House in Newberry, SC and the N Club in Greensboro, NC.
Moore, now a fixture in the Southeast, regularly headlines the Handlebar, and regularly performs at such renowned venues as The Windjammer in Charleston, SC, Smith's Olde Bar in Atlanta, GA, The White Mule in Columbia, SC and the historic Double Door Inn and Evening Muse in Charlotte, NC. |
